DID YOU KNOW there’s an airport in West Hollywood?
(There is not an airport in West Hollywood.)
I read that Alexis Madrigal article over the weekend, on how Google employs an army of people whose sole job is to tweak Google Maps so that it becomes more and more accurate each day, but there was no explanation why so many of these tweaks are, you know, wrong.
I’ve always assumed these airport icons on public buildings are helipads - a lot of hospitals have them too.
