So I just finished reading Hari Kunzru’s Gods Without Men, and it was outstanding - Cloud Atlas without the middle-class british racism! Visit From The Goon Squad without the music industry self regard! A pretty explicit debt owed to Eco and to Borges! Basically why have I not heard more people saying “go read this”?
